My Journey: 2026–2036
My name is Jimmy Yao, and this blog is where I will document my life from 2026 to 2036—ten years of learning, growing, and working toward becoming a tour guide for international visitors.
This is not a story written after everything has worked out. It is a record of the journey as it happens, one day and one small step at a time.
From Learning English to Guiding International Visitors
My journey begins with learning English. My goal is to build the language skills and confidence I need to welcome visitors from around the world, help them explore, and share local stories with them.
Along the way, I will document:
- How I start learning English and develop my study habits.
- My progress in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
- The mistakes I make and the lessons I learn.
- How I prepare to become a tour guide for international visitors.
- My experiences meeting people, communicating across cultures, and guiding travelers.
The small moments matter, too: a new word I finally remember, a conversation I find the courage to start, or a difficult day when I keep going.
Ten Years of My Life, Honestly Recorded
From 2026 to 2036, this blog will be more than a learning journal. It will be a personal record of my everyday life, my decisions, my challenges, and the moments that shape who I become.
Everything I share here will be 100% true to my own life and experiences. No invented achievements. No made-up encounters. No pretending that progress is always easy.
Some posts will celebrate milestones. Others will describe setbacks, uncertainty, or ordinary days. They all belong in the story.
This Is Where I Begin
I do not know exactly what the next ten years will bring. But I know what I want to work toward: learning English, connecting with people from different countries, and becoming a tour guide who helps international visitors feel welcome.
This blog is my place to keep an honest record of that journey.
I’m Jimmy Yao. This is my story, from 2026 to 2036.
